To Feel Safe

I want to feel safe.
I want to feel secure.
I’m riding this rollercoaster,
It’s hard to endure.
I need some stability, something concrete.
Something that makes my soul feel complete.
Something that tethers me, like gravity to my feet.
I need to feel safe.
